You will need to alter the VRML files
themselves. VrmlPad is good for this and
you will need a copy of the VRML97 spec.
I would try removing any PROTOs from
copies of the files along with
referances to them. Replace the existing
floor with a large box or flat plane.

Yes basically. In the VRML97 spec it
says programs are suppost to quietly
ignore anything in files they do not
support. ISB and ISA support the spec.
