The shading used in the cortona VRML
client depends only on the underlying 3d
system in use.
However, the need for quick 3d doesnt
live much space for anything else than
plain phong shading, at least with the
current hardware 3d implementations.
If you use OpenGL the shading model is
the one used by OpenGL if you switch to
DirectX so does the shading model, but
in general it will remain the same.


Just because it says so in the book or
the help files, doesnt mean that it
works OR that it is 100% true.
