I concur with the original poster. I'm getting unwanted clipping in both the near and far planes.
I don't understand the above reply. I'm looking at the VRML specification for NavigationInfo and it specifies only 3 values for avatarSize. I've tried setting the 1st value (allowable distance between the user's position and any collision geometry)
to various things (including zero), and I've set the visibilityLimit to zero (infinite), but they don't seem to have any effect. I'm still getting too much clipping in both the near and far planes.
I should note that I'm using the EXAMINE mode in Cortona version 1.0.1d13 on Mac OS X 10.3.9, and that my test shape is non-convex.
