How did you insert Cortona Control in
your presentation: via Object... command
from the main menu or using Control
Toolbox toolbar?

This happens because PowerPoint doesn't
discern between design time and run time
modes (the same instance of an ActiveX
control is used in both modes).
Unfortunately there is no way to prevent
this.
