I now see that these preferences are supposed to be saved across sessions. However, on the one machine that counts, this is not happening. Any ideas why this might be happening?

Is there a way to save a default set of preferences across sessions in the Cortona VRML Client? I set the toolbars to off, but the next time it runs, the toolbars return. I need to keep them off as I'm using this to present an experiment and I don't want the participant fiddling with the controls.
I also don't have easy access to the source code which is generating the VRML, so I can't easily turn the toolbars off in that way.
