Subject: V6 installer crash in Vista Sender: b@bathsheba.com 27.02.09 22:31 I run Firefox and am a heavy VMRL user, and I was sorely disappointed after the long wait for the 6.0 beta to find that the installer crashes under Vista. After the "Click Install to begin the installation." box, it pops up "Please wait while the Setup Wizard installs Cortona3D Viewer." with an empty progress bar, then the UAC dialog pops. Click Continue and the next dialog is The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2738. After that, "Cortona3D Viewer Setup Wizard ended prematurely". :-( Vista Business, SP1, up to date.
