If you want to try out the geometrical models to see the problem there, try http://tunesmithy.netfirms.com/tunes/hexany/hexany_1_3_5_7.wrl which has fewer midi clips, instead of http://tunesmithy.netfirms.com/tunes/dekany/dekany3_1_3_5_7_9.wrl Both used to work very well indeed with the Cortona here. The second one has 75 midi clips, and if the same thing happens for you as happened here, then the computer may stop responding while they load.
