Subject: Re: VB interaction with VRML file in Internet Explorer

I figured it out. I found that my code has 3-4 times the number of loops required. SO I adjusted the number or repeating loops while loading the VRML into my Cortona control
I hope you can help me with some start-up example for my school project.
I have Internet web browser embeded in my VB.NET application. i inserted Cortona control in my VB form. Whne the user clicks the button it loads vrml file. However, this takes about 5 minutes for loading a 1.25MB file. So I inserted Internet Explorer (IE) in my VB form with URL pointing to the VRML to load. I noticed that the VRML file loads in 5 seconds.

My questions are:

1) Why does it take so long to load VRML file inside the Cortona control? Is there a specific automation that I need to do?

2) I would like to stick to loading VRML inside IE control embeded in my VB form because it is superfaster. How can I interact with VRML from VB button. For example, I want the user to click on a VB button to hide/show a Shape node in the vrml file loaded in IE. In Cortona VRML I use somthing like this:

node.Fields("appearance").Value.Fields("material").Value.Fields("transparency").Value = 1

Any help is appreciated.
