Subject: Re: view point handling
Sender: dan.vera@gmail.com 3.08.07 03:27
Thanks Michael, thanks Alex for your help. I have sorted my problem out by using two view points as you suggested.
with version prior to cortona clientv5, i could unbind a view point without going to the next viewpoint in the stack (or to this mysterious default view point), so i wonder which one is the normal behavior.

thanks again

Dan

In fact, this solution (having two view point with the same parameters, see previous post for problem description) only partially solves the problem i have:

Let say this view point is tight to a transform node that is dynamically moved, the view point will follow the transform motion, whereas if the link point bind was really set to false, the view would NOT follow the transform motion.

the "two view points" solution does not solve this problem, and i couldn't find any other solutions.

I do think this view point problem is a bug of cortona v5. am i right in thinking so?

Thanks,

Dam
